At Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach’s Birthline/Lifeline program, we are blessed to be surrounded by compassionate individuals who give their time, talent, and heart to serve our clients. During April's volunteer appreciation month, we are honored to shine a spotlight on one of our extraordinary volunteers, Chris Cacciari, whose unwavering commitment to the well-being of mothers and babies is both inspiring and deeply impactful.
Chris has gone above and beyond in her mission to support new moms on their breastfeeding journey. Recognizing the need for expert guidance in this crucial area, Chris took it upon herself to dive deep into the world of lactation education. With incredible dedication, she has invested her own time and energy to pursue training and is currently working toward earning her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification—a globally recognized credential that speaks to her passion and professionalism.
But Chris’s work doesn’t stop at studying. She brings her growing expertise directly to our clients through hands-on support. She leads our Nursing Moms Group, creating a welcoming, nurturing space where moms can connect, share, and learn together. Whether it’s offering encouragement during a tough week or celebrating small victories, Chris is always there with compassion, wisdom, and a listening ear.
She also provides one-on-one coaching, ensuring that each mom receives personalized guidance and care tailored to her unique breastfeeding experience. Her calm, reassuring presence and wealth of knowledge have made a tangible difference in the lives of so many of the families we serve.
Chris embodies what it means to be a servant leader. She saw a need, equipped herself to meet it, and now walks beside moms during one of the most important (and sometimes challenging) times in their lives. Her journey reminds us all that true service isn’t just about showing up—it’s about showing up prepared, present, and passionate.
From all of us at Birthline/Lifeline: Thank you, Chris, for being a light to our community. Your work empowers mothers, strengthens families, and reflects the heart of our mission. We are so grateful for you.
