Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach is grateful for our long-standing partnership with the Florida Pregnancy Care Network, Inc. to provide pregnancy care services to pregnant women enabling them to carry their pregnancies to term and choose parenting or adoption. The financial support is through a program entitled: Florida Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services Program, commonly referred to as FPPSSP.
This year 2023, the Network awarded our Birthline Lifeline Program 4 grant awards for each of our Pregnancy Care Center locations to include: West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Ft. Pierce, and our mobile units. The grants allow us to invoice the network up to $378,000 for pregnancy care services.
The Birthline/Lifeline Program promotes the sanctity of life and offers pregnancy care services at its pregnancy care center locations. Women coping with an unplanned or crisis pregnancy can access compassionate counseling regarding adoption, alternatives to pregnancy terminations and more. Services, to include pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, prenatal care referrals, pregnancy options counseling, material assistance and more are offered free of charge. The same services are offered through our Women's Pregnancy Solutions Program, through our two state of the art mobile units.
While our work is never ending, our strength lies in support from partners like The Florida Pregnancy Care Network. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable people in our community, to include pregnant women in need or crisis.
The mission of the Florida Pregnancy Care Network, Inc. is to enhance the efforts of Florida pregnancy resource organizations that deliver wellness services to qualifying women, and that provide emotional and materials support to pregnant women in need, enabling them to carry their pregnancies to term and choose parenting or adoption. This is certainly a mission that Catholic Charities Birthline Lifeline program can get behind 100%.
