Since 1984, Catholic Charities has assisted over 100,000 local people in need, irrespective of race or religion: the elderly, the immigrant, the hungry, the homeless, the prisoner, the expectant mother, the refugee, and those struggling with depression and despair.
On January 23, 2024, Charities Diocese of Palm Beach held its 14th Annual Caritas Dei Bishop’s Gala at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, celebrating the 40th Anniversary of this local life-changing agency.

Frankino Foundation, The Fanjul Family - Florida Crystals Corporation, event sponsors, and the Gala Committee.Additional appreciation for the support and hard work of the Caritas Dei Bishop’s Gala goes to the Gala Committee, Chairmen Emeritus Marietta Muiña McNulty, Honorary Chairman James Borynack, Chairpersons Amy Acierno and Karmita Gusmano, and everyone who has helped to ensure this year’s gala was a celebration that raises awareness and support for Catholic Charities 13 local programs and ministries that serve the most vulnerable members of our community.
The 2024 Caritas Dei Gala kicked off Catholic Charities' Guardians of Hope Campaign that will help ensure the sustainability of 13 local vital programs that serve some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
We are thrilled to report that over $850,000 was raised and are seeking Guardian Angels to help us reach our goal.
