Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach Receives $10,000 Grant from Mary Alice Fortin Foundation

Palm Beach, FL — October 31, 2024

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach is proud to announce the receipt of a $10,000 grant from the Mary Alice Fortin Foundation, awarded in September 2024. This generous contribution will provide crucial general operating support to enhance the organization’s mission of serving individuals and families in need throughout our 5 county service area which includes Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, and Indian River Counties. 

The grant will support Catholic Charities twelve programs and services, allowing for assistance to those facing various challenges, including human trafficking, housing instability, pregnancy support, resettlement and immigration legal needs, and access to vital social services. With the ongoing demand for support in our community, this funding will help ensure that Catholic Charities can continue to respond effectively to the needs of the most vulnerable populations.
