Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach Receives $30,000 Grant from Town of Palm Beach United Way for Disaster Recovery Services

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach is pleased to announce the receipt of a $30,000 grant from the Town of Palm Beach United Way, awarded in October 2024, to support disaster recovery services for victims affected by the recent Hurricane Milton-related tornadoes.

This timely grant will play a crucial role in assisting individuals and families who have suffered significant losses due to the severe weather events. With extensive damage reported across our 5-county diocese, Catholic Charities is mobilizing resources to provide immediate relief, including food and basic needs assistance,  emergency housing, and disaster recovery case management.

Catholic Charities is deeply grateful for our partnership with the Town of Palm Beach United Way and for their generous support during this challenging time.  This grant will help Catholic Charities respond swiftly to the urgent needs of our community members affected by Hurricane Milton. Together, we can help families rebuild their lives and recover from this disaster.
