Catholic Charities Hunger Homeless Outreach provides emergency homelessness prevention services that assist individuals and families to attain economic stability and self-sufficiency.
With its knowledge of the extensive range of resources available in the community, this program provides basic information and referrals but has also grown to provide the following direct services:
- Rent, mortgage, and utility assistance
- Budgeting/Financial Counseling - using "Your Money, Your Goals" curriculum
- Assistance screening: helping to screen clients to see if they qualify for available resources including food stamps (SNAP) and Medicaid.
- Benefit Enrollment: provide help in enrolling those who qualify for assistance benefits.
- Food and transportation assistance
