Catholic Charities is proud to announce the receipt of a $299,646 one-year grant from the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF). This significant grant underscores the ongoing commitment of Catholic Charities to assist vulnerable populations by addressing the root causes of homelessness and providing resources to achieve long-term stability. The Hunger Homeless Outreach Program offers essential services such as rent, mortgage assistance to families facing temporary financial crisis, empowering participants to maintain safe and stable housing.
“The support from the Department of Children and Families enables us to expand our reach and deepen our impact,” said Ellen T. Wayne, Ed.D. CEO of Catholic Charities. “We are dedicated to ensuring that individuals and families facing homelessness have the tools and resources they need to build a brighter future. This funding represents a lifeline for those we serve.”
