In March 2025, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach partnered with Emmanuel Catholic Church in Delray Beach to restock Catholic Charities food pantry with a truckload of food to provide to families in need. This generous initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to serving the most vulnerable members of our community, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
With food insecurity affecting many households in our Diocese, this donation comes at a critical time. The truck was filled with nutritious staples, non-perishable food, and essential pantry items to provide relief to struggling families. For many, these donations will provide not only sustenance but also a sense of hope and reassurance that they are not alone in their struggles.
"This is what our faith calls us to do—to be the hands and feet of Christ, serving those in need with love and compassion," said Ellen T. Wayne, CEO of Catholic Charities. "We are blessed to have such a strong partnership with Emmanuel Catholic Church and their generous parishioners who make these efforts possible."
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach remains dedicated to serving those in need through food distributions, housing assistance, and many other vital programs. If you would like to support our mission and help families in need, please consider making a donation or volunteering your time.
Together, we can make a difference—one meal, one family, and one community at a time.
