April 2025 - At Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach, we are deeply grateful to Catholic Charities USA for their generous support in providing much-needed disaster recovery supplies to our communities. Their commitment to aiding those affected by natural disasters has made a profound impact on families in need, offering them hope and essential resources in their time of recovery.
In coordination with three long-term recovery coalitions in Okeechobee, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach played a pivotal role in identifying community needs and facilitating the order requests for vital recovery supplies. Through this collaborative effort, we were able to ensure that the right resources reached the families and individuals working to rebuild their lives after disaster strikes. Supplies were distributed to our disaster recovery partners at United Against Poverty in Indian River County, the St. Lucie Recovery Coalition - St. Lucie Housing Hub, and Our Village in Okeechobee County.
